Hi, I am trying to constrain this family so that I can enter a value for the widths of the ends ("end width"), but only one seems to be following what I want (the left one).
Also, I want the center, ("center width") to change the width of the center but also keep it exactly in the middle between the ends...any ideas how to do that? When I assign the center dimension to ("center width") it grows, but only from the left side, not from the center...that being said, is there a way to make two dimensions EQ that aren't directly next to each other?
Please see attached photos ("what its doing" vs. "what I want") and file. the "what I want" photo was photoshopped to show what I want.
Thanks.

Are the voids equal no mater what the end webs are? ARe the end webs always equal?

I don't know how to make the voids equal no matter what...that was part of my question since they aren't directly adjacent, I don't know how to make sure they stay equal. How would I do that?

Don't define the voids, define the webs.

I did define the webs, but they are behaving like in that first photo. The question is how to I constrain the webs to other things so the center one stays in the center regardless of its width?

Add a centerline--set the dimensions for it to EQ, contrain the center web(?) from the left and right of the centerline 1", or 1/2 of your existing parameter if you're using that to control all the widths simultaneously.
Edited for clarity.

^^^ And remove the void constraints. You can't constrain both the voids and the webs.
