Hello all.
I've browsed RevitCity on and off for a few years, but unitl now i've had nothing to contribute or any need to ask questions. I have in the past downloaded and used some of the content
I've been using REVIT regularly since verison 8.1
I've recently started a new position for an Architect in melbourne, and i'm likely to be exploring areas of REVIT that i've not needed to consider before.
One issue that has come up twice now in the past 4 months is with the creation of a custom Curtain Wall Door, trying to get 4 EQUAL panels in width. Twice i've created a custom door type, and can flex the simple model in family mode, but once its inserted into a project the panels display unequally in plan and elevation views.
Kind regards
David Bruinsma

Try to LOCK the "Door Frame Thickness" in the family types and test it.

Thanks for the advise Typhoon.
I have now done the suggested change, but it has not fixed the problem that i'm experiencing. I am attaching a PLAN view of the door panel inserted into a blank project.
The 'outside' is at the top.
As can been seen from this view, the LEFT door panel when viewed from inside does not match the other 3 door panels. I have also experienced a similar problem with a 2 door curtain wall family that i've created. The 'EQ' function on the Reference planes that is in the curtain wall door family does not appear to be working correctly.
Kind Regards

Just had another play with the Door Family and changed the way the EQ dimensions are done for the door widths.
I've returned the original EQ dims to the centre of the family and to the left and right Reference planes.
Then i've put seperate EQ dim to the left side, and a seperate EQ dim to the right side.
Attached is a dual window screen capture with the FAMILY in the left panel, and the PROJECT in the right panel.
I now have equal left and right halves, but not equal left to right ? (if that makes sense) It appears that the CENTRE ref plane refuses to stay in the centre of the family ... ???
