Hello,

I'm trying to make a paramteric cabinet but encounter following problems, so if anybody could help me it would me nice.

I would like to make a cabinet with different types of doors :

A made several base furniture families and load those into a main furniture familie

a have a door type family (furniture) and a core family (furniture)

Now a make new type family where and, put a label on the door type, now i have different presets that choose differten doortypes... the only thing now is how can i make a type where i do not show any doors ?

Second this is if I load this family into a project and U edit the family I can change those doors by every "furniture" there is in the project... So i can make a cabinet with a "chair" door ? How can I fix this that I only see those doors ?

Thx a lot

I really don't like all-in-one families.  If you have a project that uses them all, then it might make some sense but otherwise, I think simple is better.

Create a null door family and add that to your mix.  (Nothing in this family.)
