Using Revit 2011.
Has anyone else tried downloading a ceiling from the Revit Download portion of the Armstrong site? I tried opening one, and they had the ceiling drawn as a .rvt file instead of an .rfa file - so I couldn't load it into my existing model file. It seemed to be that way on all their files. Did I miss something? I was in the portion of their site for specialty ceilings, with tiles of unusual sizes - but in the downloads the graphic all showed 2x2.

Ceilings are system families and can not be saved as rfa. Open their file side by side with yours and copy paste a ceiling into your file. This is how you transfer system level families.
