Hi All,

I'm having trouble to add these parameters and make it work, when loaded into a project.

can some-one here add these parameters...,or guide me. (i have marked them in RED)  i got this family from here itself.

My request is that these dimensions (need to be converted into parameters) are not fixed dimensions,

therefore i should be able to modify them independently.

Pls. see attached.

I'm Using Revit Architecture 2012

CREATION FAMILIES RULE 101 - Create "Ref. Planes", create dimensions between ref. planes and not from objects, select the dimension and create the parameter, create obj. and constrain to ref. planes.

thx. for the tip. i could do most of it. but if you see (in 3d view) the family i've attached, i need the handrail quadrant to be at where i have drawn the model lines....why am i not able to make it work. pls. help.

Edit the PATH and sketch like you want.
