is there a way to override the detail title such that I have multiple tages with the same name. for instance. I have the 4 room elevations but want them all to be named room 101 elevation. they will be identified and keyed based on the number

Please learn to use your HELP.
View Name - The name of the active view. The view name displays in the Project Browser and in the title bar of the view. It also displays as the name of the viewport on a sheet, unless you define a value for the Title on Sheet parameter.
All Project Browser names MUST be unique. But ... read the last part above ^^^^
