I am trying to set up a wall schedule so I can calculate the amounts of siding that I need. It works great but I would like to get the grand total for my sq. ft. of siding. When I do the grand total button it only adds up the number of walls that I have. Does anyone know how I can get the Grand Total to show my total area instead of the total number of walls?

I think what u need to do is to edit your schedule and under the Schedule Properties for formating, try to Format the Area so that it will be able Calculate Totals. No only that you could now format the Area Field to show total but u could also change the unit.

Have you tried to calculate the total costs within the schedule? I am trying to do that myself, but am not sure of how to set up the field? (See my post under "Schedules Total Cost".
