Hi,
I would like some of my families (windows, doors, and cabinets for example) to display sizes right with the inserted family. Is there a way to insert a label or text note on a family and have it linked to one or more of the dimensions of the object so that when looking at the plan view in a project you can see the size? We currently don't use schedules and are adding text notes to indicate sizes. This, however, is time consuming and sometimes the object size changes and the text note gets forgotten. I'd like to be able to insert a 36" wide door and change it to a 30" wide door without having to worry if the text note followed.

Insert text into your family and use yes/no parameters to control when they show.
