Hi all,

Just been working on some manufacturer specific pipe types for our templates.

I have setup some pipe types, with a new material and a set of specific pipe sizes in a seperate Revit file. When I try to transfer the pipe material and size data into our template file, I can only get the data to come across if I select the 'overwrite' option at the duplicate types window. If I pick the New Only option, none of the new pipe materials or sizes are copied across.

If we just had default pipe materials and sizes in our template this wouldnt be a problem (well it would, but one that we wouldnt have to worry about until later!) however we have some custom pipe materials and sizes already set up in the template (created directly in the template file when we first put it together) so if I choose the 'Overwrite' option these end up getting removed entirely.

I looked around for information on this, it looks like people were having the same problem a couple of years ago, and then nothing since. Anyone got any clues about this?

Whoops! Sorry Mods, don't know how this ended up here, could someone please move it to the Revit Systems folder?

Ta!
