We are all new with revit mep 2012 and this is what happened. Several (lots) diffusers were placed by a drafter and they are the wrong size and type (family), is it possible to replace them globally, kind of like redefining a block in autocad? thanks for any help.

You can select all of the diffusers by clicking on the object, right click, select all instances in project, then change the type in the type properties.
