Sirs/Experts, Revit is newly introduced in our office and I was tasked to do one of our existing station. The station is consutructed with a funny waffle slab and long spanned cantilevered tapered beam. Can anyone please help me on how and where can I begin constructing the beam in revit and bit of how to please.... Many thanks! and more power to all revit users! Is the cantilevered beam part of the footing? I'm going to assume (since you say 'tapered'Winking that it's an architectural feature. You need to create a beam like that with your massing tool - a tapered beam would probably be easiest with a solid sweep. If you haven't worked with massing yet however, try creating much simpler shapes first - it takes a while to understand how it works!

I guess I'm a fast learner.... I've gone far on this already....the MTR Kowloon Bay Station in the Gallery is my first one...Thanks a lot!
