That is very cool!  I have never used that program but I think I need to look into it!

If you plan to do a lot of static renderings and fly-walkthrough in an "instance" then I suggest you download the "Lumion Free" version to give it a try. They have 3 different versions... Lumion Free, Lumion Ultimate, and now the lastest that just came out about 2 weeks ago, Lumion Pro. If you can model in Revit, 3ds Max, and SU... then Lumion is "Heaven" for you. You can import different format into Lumion, even on the free version (you just get the watermark logo, and limited library). I mostly use "collada (.DAE)" to export. but you can now use .DWG files as well. Once imported to Lumion you can either keep the material or change them within Lumion. There's a lot of model objects within the library...from Cars, People, Trees, etc... and you can animate stuff. like cars moving, people walking, etc... And the most favorite of all. If your design changed... your imported files in Lumion updates as well. I love the program and wanted to upgrade to Pro. I'm currently using the version before Ultimate which is the Lumion Basic w/ several plug-ins.

P.S. like always, you will need a good computer. Smile

I'm currently using a Dell Workstation... Intel Xeon X5690 @3.47Ghz; 12GB RAM; 64 Bit OS; and NVIDIA Quadro 5000 (you don't need it this much).

Does it help to have a Quadro card?  Does lumion actually utilize it?
