1. how do you set a finish floor to 0'-0" and have it relate to a site topo height of 511.9'?
2. do you typically 'build' site models seperate from the BIM and then link the two?
i've referenced in an acad site drawing and matched it to the property lines i input using the table. i used the topo lines from the acad drawing (drawn at sea level elevations, so... the site is sitting up at 500+ feet. i'd like my elevations and sections to call my base level out at 0'-0" which actually sits at 511.9' and also have my architectural site plan show correct topo elevations. i've reviewed the tutorial about sharing coords but this makes the base level read and sea level rather than at 0'-0". it also left the topo model sitting 500 feet above the new base level.
i'm pretty new (2 weeks) to revit so please don't worry about being to verbose or basic in your info.
