All,
We have been trying to schedule the host wall type for internals doors. From what we've gathered from some earlier posts around 2008 this can't be done without using Revit API or similar.
Does anyone know if this has been addressed in Revit Architecture 2012 or 2013.
Regards

Reporting Parameters
A reporting parameter is a parameter type that has its value driven by a particular dimension in the family model. Reporting parameters extract a value from a geometric condition and use it to report the data to a formula or as a schedulable parameter.
^^ As you can see, you can only read certain dimensions. This could be a wall thickness. Nothing else from the host.
