Hello all,
I am brand new to Revit. I just performed a clean install of Revit Architecture 2013 without changing any options and I can not seem to find any of the families. All I want are the default families that come with the program. The program works great but when I go to say place a door there are no families. I went into the options and checked the default families path which is "ProgamData\Autodesk\RAC 2013\Family Templates\English_I" but there is absolutely nothing located in that folder nor have I been able to located a folder that has anything in it. Any help with getting the program setup properly would be greatly appreciated.

Under the Revit R pulldown - click on options. Under the file locations tab, places you will see the path set for your libraries. Make sure that is set correctly.

I had this prob. I installed 13 in one computer offline and had the same thing happen. I installed 13 on a diff. computer online and had all the architectural Library and the Mep Library in the defults. When you install online it seem to load the VERY large Library that takes about 45 min depending on dl speed. I then was able to grab the folders and place them in the other computer manually. The content i think is about 500mb big because for revit 13 stuc & mep is included. Hope this helps
