Hi RevitCity memebers, si just started learning revit architecture sometime ago, and my professor gave me a task to recreate a whole villa using revit. so i started working on it and now i'm stuck here with this element.

I think it's a "brise soleil" sunshading, and it's rotatable, i really appreciate if someone over here can guide me on how to make this componenet as a family in revit.

Start by searching "sun" in the downloads and look at the sun shade families. You can modify those as you need.
If this is oly in one location, then I would model it as one family - in-place.

Thanks for your reply, i looked in the downloads section but no luck. Can you create the basic elelments for me? i know that's too much to ask but i don't have enoughtime to learn, and this project is due in a few hours. I'll be forever in your debt.

Do a simple roof extrusion and add the holes. Materials and compostion - one element. YOU CAN AT LEAST DO THAT!

Without knowing the exact dimensions, I don't think it's likely. This sort of thing is typically "modeled in place". With sweeps, extrusions, and the like.
To make it a parametric family would be very time-consuming--though handy for sharing, obviously. The model-in-place family tools are your friend, in a crunch. Even if they're not best practice in the long run.
