Hi
I am trying to place a decal image onto the face of a mass. Placing an image seems straight forward when placing onto walls, however does not seem to work on mass. Am I missing something, or is it not possible.Appreciate your time
Regards DS

Have you assigned any properties to your mass to make it have walls, roof, etc?

Hi Teafoe5
To create the mass, I just went to Component > Model in place > Mass > Drew the area > Create Form > Solid Form > Finish Mass and then extruded to the required height.
I have done this for all the surronding buildings for my site - and I am hoping to attatch photos of the buildings onto the extruded mass, so when I render my site, the surrounding buildings render as well with the photos overlayed
How do I assign properties to the mass?Appreciate your time
Thanks

You need to actually turn your masses into buildings by adding walls. I don't think that you can add a decal to a plain mass. If you are just adding decals to look like the buildings I would create a generic wall type a random thickness say 2" with the default material used for it. Once you have your wall type, click the wall button to start creating walls then under draw tab click the "Pick Faces" button (looks like a cube with a green front) and then just select the faces of your mass and it will automatically turn them into walls which you can then place your decals on.
