Can anyone explain how to achieve the finish shown in the following photo. How do you get a different colour on certain sections of the wall.

I personally prefer using a curtain wall type for things like this when they aren't all the same (though there are many other ways). Draw a generic curtain wall, then divide up the wall as required using grid lines under the modeling tab to create "panel" areas that match the different finishes. Then tab until you select the panel created by the grid lines and insert the wall type with color and reveals as required for each area.
