Hi everybody. I am relatively new to Revit and am having a few problems. I am trying to create a view/sheet to show the detailing in a kitchen and bathrooms but cannot figure out how to do it. When I create a "Duplicate", Duplicate with Detailing", or "Duplicate as Dependant" I cannot modify the drawings without it affecting the original drawing. Any help is greatly appreciated as I am trying to finish a school project this week.

If you are changing model elements, then that is correct. Change them in one view and it changes them everywhere. That's REVIT!
Duplicating a view will give you a different model view where you can add different annotations or change VG settings. To modify model elements for different options ... Design Options is your answer.
