I'm taking a section through my building and trying to make everything being cut through render a black fill, but when I try to apply this setting to 'mass' categories being cut through, it renders dark grey instead of black. Is there a way to correct this?

In the Visability Graphics, under model categories tab, you scroll down to Mass and override the cut pattern to black. Is that what you did already and your still getting a gray?

The solution is in the 'Material' of the Mass.
Click the Mass,
then Edit in Place,
then select the Mass
Click the Material Property.
make the Material 'Cut Pattern' a solid Fill and Black.
Then Finish Mass.

Sweetness -- I saw Tycoon's post in a similar thread but it lacked the details you've given me. Many thanks!
