Just completed my building!
I now need an exterior view in a DXF file. It is not saving to a thumb drive when I try to save it. I think it might be too big. Is it possible to turn off all floor levels and components in the interior and just keep the skin of the building to export as a DXF file? I want to finish building it in SketchUp Pro.

using Revit 2012. Maybe some suggestions as to how to get a decent rendering from Revit for an exterior view without it taking 3 days...

Save the exterior view locally then copy to your thumb drive.
If you had created your building using worksets, you could turn off interior worksets.
Render time - use a faster computer... You don't tell us anything.
