I am relatively new to Revit and have only been using for a couple years.  We are currently working on a project that will be made up of one building to be duplicated on two sites.  The orientations will change as will some exterior materials and shading.  I was thinking of using one building model with design options for the two site and two separate site models that reverence in the base building model.  Foundations/ building pad/site would be in the two site models.  Has anyone run across a similar situation or have any recomendations for or against?

Design options is a good strategy... using them takes a little getting used to but is very advatageous once you figure it out. As for the site, you are also correct in doing two different ones and then linking them. Now if only we could control topo with design options....
