I have tried to do the phase filter overrides. I have looked at the materials. I cannot find anywhere where the red comes from for demollition. I want to get rid of the red, because I need to show my work in greyscale, so i want to do some hatching. This is what it looks like in red.
Please help.

There is no red like that in anything we do.... so you have set this up - SOMEWHERE!
In your phasing tab / graphics overrides tab maybe?

It is actually a default in revit 2012 architecture. what I had somehow overlooked was to click on the "material" column in the graphic overrides in the phasing filter .I never realized that one was able to choose the material color because all it says is "phase - exist" or "phase - demo" , etc. - not showing any lines or colors as with the other columns!! - so I got FOOLED and overlooked that column. Only when I studied the manual carefully then I realized that this "phase - demo" row in the materials column in the graphic overrides in the phase filter ACTUALLY controls the color. So all i had to do was click on THAT and i can choose my colors!!The default for "phase - demo" is red - which is what we saw in the picture (I didn't put it there). Now I've learned my lesson and am going to change the colors as i want them to be.:-)Many thanks for your time, though. Deeply appreciated.
