I modeled in Revit but don't want to render in it.
I want to export to 3dS Max. I export a dwf. When I import this into 3ds...it's just a flat floor plan, not 3D. I have a 3D model in Revit. I've built (and rendered) numerous buildings in revit. Am I missing something upon export?

Make sure when your exporting, that you expand the list to show all views, maybe your only exporting a floor plan, check the box for 3D view and it will keep the 3D properties,
However, I'd recommend that you export it to an FBX format instead, this will help maintain some of your material and lighting properties. Then in 3Ds, instead of importing, go to file link manager and attach the file.
