1 license for 1 computer... You may be able to install it on a few more but that's not really legal.

If you purchase one network licence of revit, you can have it installed on every computer in your office. But only 1 person will be able to run it at any given time. In my office we have a combination of about 30 CAD & revit users. But we only have 20 network licenses ( or seats). That way the software is installed on all 30 computers, but only 20 users can use them at a time. As many of our users are not full time users this solution has worked great for us, and saved us a bunch of money.

I don't know how your network works - but it generally works as it's been described. If you install on a network, you'll only be able to run revit on one computer at a time - however, you will be able to install it on multiple computers.

You can move the Revit license (and most other Autodesk products) using the PLU (portable license utility). The PLU is located in the Autodesk group on your Windows start bar.
Read up on the process first so you don't find yourself in an unrecoverable situation. It works fine for me, but others who don't follow the rules get burned.
