I've got a model-in-place blend for a ceiling that has a linear wood pattern on it.  For some reason my attempts to move/rotate the pattern produce no results.  Who wants to be my Revit hero?? ;-D

Try to choose a new patern and take notice there are 2 kinds of paterns model and drafting.

My gues is jou used a drafting patern where jou should have used a model patern.

You will have to be in a view that is perpindicular to that surface.  I suggest that from a cross section view, you cut a horizontal section and rotate that so it is parallel to the surface.  Then from that view, you will be able to tab select your model pattern from an interior line and rotate it.

Thanks, WWHub -- that worked.  I am able to move and rotate the pattern lines, I just can't align them to edges of the blend.  Works well enough for me!
