I have created a duplicate as a dependent view to facilitate breaking my plan into multiple views. This has resulted in a dashed line indication in the overall plan. Is there a way to turn this line indication off? I am creating an overall plan (for an SK) and don't want these line showing up
Thanks

thanks hub, but matchline didn't do it.
The dashed line is a rectangle which represents the extent of the clipping for the dependent view that was created.
I guess that the easy way would be to create a duplicate view of the plan that can then be used for my SK drawings, but it seems there should be a way to turn it off and not have to create all these duplicates for use in mulitple sheets

A rectangle ???? It sounds like you created a callout, not a dependent view.

Nope it's a dependent view. I just did it again to test it.
I have my level 1 plan. Create a dependent view. rename the dependent view "plan north".
within the dependent view, I adjust the crop to view just the north end of the plan.
When I go back to the Level 1 overall plan I see a rectangle that corresponds to the Crop of the dependent view which is very helpful, However it I can't seem to turn it off as needed.

Just right click on it and hide in view - element.
