Hi, I have a user who is repeatedly having her annotation disappear on her details that she has drawn in Revit 2009. They disappear when she saves and closes the drawing. Not sure if they are the same details or different details everytime.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Could you lend support on why this may be happening? The file size is ~90mb and is a 5 story interior rennovation / remodel as a Tenant Improvement.
Thanks

Oh, and it is not the annotation crop or crop view which is removing the detail's annotation.

Are the dimensions gone or just not visible in that view on that machine?
Although 90 mb should not be a problem, you could be having memory issues depending on your project and process.
- Revit has a memory leak so we recommend you shut down at least once per day.
- You should also audit and compress your file regularly. Maybe once every 2 weeks for a file that size.
- Be careful with views / sheets that have image files on them. They use a lot of memory.
- Try to save your file from a small view - we use a legend view. - NEVER save from tiled views.
- Believe it or not, your user may be having system problems because their temp filder is too full. Use something like CCleaner to clean this folder.

Im having the same issue,
all of my annotations (dimensions/ text / and wall end points) have dissappeared from all views (plans , elevations, sections,...), the project is 16mb and I have unhided the elements as well as categories, also I have revised my visibility and graphics templates and all my annotative elements are checked on.
I cannot drag and extend a wall from the wall end point, because the point is not visible and as a test I have tried to add a new dimension and I get this error message on all views:
"None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: Level 3 View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings."
Thanks

I figured it out
It had to do with my active workset settings, I had the "visible on all views" unchecked
in the show - views setting
hope this helps to others facing similar issues
