I am currently trying to render a file (about 25mb) and when I hit render (on the lowest settings or higher setting) it takes about 10 minutes before moving from 0%. It also maxes out the ram on the computer. (Tried it on my laptop (12 GB ram with I-7 render took it to 11.8 GB) and on my desktop (16 GB ram with I-7 render took it to 15.4 GB ram). I am not new to Revit I have been using it for about 6 years now. I have had renders take forever but not like this. The only 2 things I can think of which I have not done before in Revit are rendering with linked files and using the beam system tool to make decking. I all so just found out about "use and-aliasing for 3d views" under options but I don’t see why this would make the render take longer. Please let me know if you need more information. Thank you for your time.
