Hello everyone!

I'm new in Revit and I have several questions

When I'm going to insert a family into the project, it has only English description. Is it possible to connect translated descriptions in German or French? How to manage this issue.

Also  I have difficulty to add "position number" to each family I have inserted into the project. How do numbering work in Revit, in order to see the families in schedules list?

Looking forward to your prompt reply!

There is no way of automatically translating familiy names / type names / parameters.  You would have to edit independetly.

Most families in Revit have a "Mark number" instance and or type parameter that you have to fill in.  With rooms and doors, this number is sequently modified based on the last entry yo make.  But these are the only two family types that do this.  There are some add-on packages that help with mark numbering.

Thank you!

There is no problem to edit translations independently, I just thought, that there is possibility in Revit to keep both english and german descriptions together and switch on in the schedule the description I need. Is that possible?

Concerning position number, I have attached an image of how I need to place items number. Could you specify where I can download add-on packages to work with.

Thanks!
