hi everybody, I am newbie at revit... i found solution for almost everything here, but there's one thing that are annoying me. It happens when i try to model a component directly in the project. The lines just get to much clear, in a way i can't see anything.
where i can configure the view appearence?
there's two screenshots i did, take a look
thanks!

Your model is set to wireframe, hidden line would help.
When you start the extrude process, all other lines are ghosted by default so that you can see the lines you will be drawing.

hey, thanks for the answer.
it happens even with the hidden line... and also when i model components directly in the plan view. i was checking my office partner's revit, and his revit is working fine with component modeling view. so...

So..... sounds like you need a re-install.
Actually, before you do that, have you turned off hardware acceleration?

It seems to be a glitch with the halftoning revit does when you are in an in-place family. First it halftones when you are in the family, then it halftones again when you start an extrusion. I would try WWHub's fixes, but they didn't work for me when I did.
The workaround I have been using is placing a few symbolic lines on the model elements I need my extrusion be aligned with. Then when I start my extrusion I can still see those lines, even if the model is too light. Then I just erase the symbolic lines before I finish the family.
