I was having a difficult time finding the answer to my question below in the user guide, online etc.

Are we able to embed the materials we edit/create into a project so they are not going to come up missing when other users are working on the file?

The scope of work for our projects is essentially interior design schematic and DD then outsourced for CD/CA. We have multiple people working on these small files internationally and coordinate through offices. Most of the time our network library of materials we have created suffice per project, but there are one-offs which require extra attention. This is why I am trying to embed a material into a project.

Thanks

As far as I have seen all you can do is put it in the same location as the file ont the network so that it works for everyone.  I would like to know if you can imbed it as well.

Use the Transfer Project Standards' tool to move materials from project to project. Also if you copy and paste or insert an element into a project it will come in with it's materials.

Thanks for the information. Only testing to see if these methods work for us now.

Which we do have. However, I am dealing with regional and market specific content internationally (Asia Pacific) that we do not want designers to mistake as available to them in other markets (domestic US)

At least I think that is good enough reasoning... Smile
