I am a new Revit user and have been having a few problems with importing a 3D dwg and converting it to a topography in Revit.
My dwg been produced by inserting a block (two lines to create a cross, with the insetion point at midpoint) and giving it a Z value. Please find attached drawing.
I imagine that revit cannot read a block insertion point as information to create a topography or can it and im just doing it wrong?
What do I have to do to make this information in the dwg intelligent so it can create a topography. Would it be easier to create the topography by placing a point?

You need a points file. There does not appear to be valid 3D points in here. Yes, the + blocks are at 3D levels but those are linework, not points.
