Hi all,
I have just joined this forum.
I have been using Revit 5.1 for a year now. I am an Architectural Drafter and work for the Queensland Government, AUSTRALIA. I work in Brisbane City.
I mainly use AutoCAD 2004 for drafting. However 3D modelling is done in Revit 5.1.
I mainly use Revit for residential housing projects.
Anybody else in this forum from Australia????
Just thought I would introduce myself.
I will be downloading some of those useful families. Great thanks to all those people who created the families and uploaded.
Cheers
Alan Harper

Hi Alan
Glad to have you here. I hope our community here can be of some use to you! There are a number of members here from Australia, probably more than one from Brisbane, check out the member list (by clicking "Members" on the right)

HI Alan,
Brisbane here too!.....perhaps we can hook up and start a local "think tank" re: REVIT. The office I'm in has just acquired it and I'm the one going through the hoops learning it......I'm pretty impressed so far.
regards,
John Mc

Hi Alan,
I'm from Brisbane also - could probably end up doing some of the same work as we do a lot of government work. We've been using Revit for 3 years now so are getting pretty proficient in the program.
Regards,
Chris Price.

Does anyone have the web address of a site that has Australian families for download. I found one that was listed on a forum on Revit City that had a heap of downloads on it. This was about a month ago. It had lots of families including doors, windows, BHP steel, wind bracing etc but alas I can't find it again!
Any help appreciated

Hi Brisbane people,
Was wondering if anyone out there was from Cairns? We've been using Revit since last year.
regards,
Renee Lee
