I have three questions... plelase help in anyway you can.

When I draw up a component and bring into my project file, I can rotate in one direction by not the other. I am in the proper view for the rotation direction I want but I get an error message telling me the component cannot be rotated. HELP?? It must be something with the way it was drawn but I cannot figure it out.

Next, when I try to place a flange on a pipe, I select the level I want the flange to be placed on. When I place the flange (Usually in the plan view) it will go anywhere but where I placed it plus it will go back to the default Level 1. It doesn't automatically connect to the pipe that I selected. HELP

Also when I bring components in they stay transparent. Is this always the case or is it something I'm doing when I am drawing the components up?

Please someone a little help here would be so greatly appreciated.

I should have said what version I am using, Revit MEP 2012.
