Hey all,
I am working on the second floor in REVIT ARCH and I cannot put a floor in because it says there is a problem with the walls. I cannot even select the walls. Any help?

Sorry - posted that in a panic during class. So basically I am working on the project straight from the "Design Integration Using Autodesk Revit 2012" (Architecture, Structure & MEP)
We started on Chapter 6 (Law Offices). I moved onto adding my doors and windows on the second floor and I couldn't see them at all. I could see the walls to place them, but that was it. I also coun't see the 2 stairways that I already added to Floor 1. Even so, I continued to add the flooring thinking I would just consult with my teacher in class. We decided that this was a Cut Plane issue and changed the setting to the right height and I was able to see everything. Well, the problem with that was that after adding the flooring, I had to cut out the stairways. Well whenever I went to do that there was an error about how nothing was viewable and to check parameter settings, viewable settings and maybe also plan region or something?? I have searched everywhere and it seems as though I have tried everything but it still isn't working. I am probably just going to start over at this point. Honestly, it is only Chapter 6&7..I would just prefer to fix the problem and move forward as I would in AutoCad.
Any help out there is appreciated Hopefully this makes SOME sense..

To make a stair opening, select the floor, click Edit Boundary, sketch in the opening using lines.
Click the Finish Shetch button.
That should do it.
What are your View Range settings ?

I bet you one of the views is in "existing construction" phase, and you are building a new floor. and so it doesnt show up until the current view until you change the setting to new construction. this always happens to me when my elevation markers disappear.
ALso, does someone know where that Post was that was a list of what to look for when trying to find an invisible object thats supposed to be visable?

I have not seen that list post but it's a great idea. I will start a new post if I can't find it.
