I am using Revit Architecture 2011 and I am trying to set up a railing for a set of stairs, however the panels aren't quite working how I would like. I am trying to use 1000mm panels for the bulk, however, I would like to fit an appropriate panel size where a 1000mm panel won't fit, obviously, eg. toward the end of the rails or on the small horizontal rails.

For a clearer idea of the problem, I have attached a picture of the stairs and also the 'EDIT TYPE' > 'BALLUSTER PLACEMENT' window. As you can see in the picture of the stairs, I am trying to fit panels to the rail for the stairs (for which I created a ramp as well as the stairs and then hid the ramp, leaving the stairs and the rail for the ramp) and the smaller horizontal panels section.
