Last Friday a couple people were working on a Revit proiject in my office. . and a submission was due that evening. Upon final review, I noticed that a lot of dimensions mysteriously disappeared. These were coordinate type dimensions, all locating corners of concrete columns and shear walls from a corner of property lines. I suppose a property line was deleted and redrawn or something, causing all of these dimensions linked to the property corner to disappear. Being the new guy in the office, I was blamed of course. I would like to know if there is a log of commands/activity for each person that worked on the project.. say Wed through Fri? I would like to find out who is responsible and how it happened that these dimensions went missing! Are there any such logs? This was done in Revit Structure 2012.

I believe that information is stored in the journal files, but I have never used them so I have no idea how you would go about accessing that information.

in this past i have pin pointed when functions were excuted in a model by rolling back individuals local files one by one until the error reverses itself.
