Hi everybody.
I don't understand exactly the logic of structural columns. Sometimes they define the room boundary, sometimes not. Unlike the architectural columns and walls you can't uncheck "room boundary" - why?
And the most curious is that some of structural columns do make the boundary and some not. And that's not all. In some variants they do make the boundary, in some not (random). I tried to copy the column that works "normally" but the boundary didn't change. I tried to delete and recreate the room but with no succes (as I thought that the problem was in order of adding the elements). The problem is not i different project levels, I have only one.
This time I'll make fake boundaries round the columns because I need to finish this soon bud I'd like to know why revit acts like this for next time to avoid this. It's my second project that I started in Revit so I'm no novice to Revit.
Thanks for any suggestions.

According to the HELP:
Room-Bounding Elements
The following elements are bounding elements for room area and volume computations:
- Walls (curtain, standard, in-place, face-based)
- Roofs (standard, in-place, face-based)
- Floors (standard, in-place, face-based)
- Ceilings (standard, in-place, face-based)
- Columns (architectural, structural with material set to concrete)
- Curtain systems
- Room separation lines
- Building pads
NOTE The limitation of what columns are room bounding.

I found it!!! It doesn't matter if the column is made from glass or cotton in the project, what matters is the material set in revit familly (settings category and familly parameters - structure material type). Thanks for this help.
