to produce a hi-rise concrete building construction documents? If so what were some of the down falls and how tall

yes I have and so did Mr Spot. mine was only 10 stories, but the height does not matter... you just need to sit down and plan how you are going to work in Revit for your project. how many people? what are their roll? how many worksets will you need?... you can save a lot of time using groups, but refer to other posts here and in AUGI regarding working with groups. don't have external walls going all the way up, rather break it floor to floor, just the way it's going to be built... if you have issues you can always ask here Smile HTH

I disagree with the comment about using external walls going all the way up. It all depends on how the wall is to end. If its end join will vary on any level you'll need to break it elevationally otherwise you'll have wall join errors. if all conditions are the same all the way up then its much easier to make changes if done as one wall. HTH.

the whole idea is to model as you build, you will never have (never is a strong word...) an external wall constructed as one piece going all the way up, it will go to the next level, get tide to the floor and up again, never had wall join error using it this way... Smile this will also allow you to group a leve, should you want, and copy it up...
