i have a wall that is 2 x 8 joining a wall that is 2 x 4 these walls are not perpendicular so they are continuous with the wall getting thinner. my question is how do i make the gyp. board wrap around the end where the wall gets thinner as it should?

you will need to go to the properties of the wall and structure---> edit and check your "default wrapping" at inserts and ends... HTH

Since the two walls are "joined" I don't think the wrapping can be automatic since where the join is is not the "end" of the wall. I don't think what you are looking for is possible without a work-around. I have a walltype defined as only a layer of 5/8" gyp for these oddball things or you could just use linework. We don't have a ton of these types of conditions so it is not a big deal for us. HTH Tom
