Which is the proper answer to what a color fill legend can serve (only one of these is correct) - Rooms, Areas, or Spaces?

Many thanks

Help says this...:

Color Fill Legend

Color schemes color rooms and areas in a floor plan or section view by values that you define. You can add a color fill legend to the colored view to identify what the colors represent.

Yes, rooms only. Unless an area is assigned a 'Room', color fill will not fill it automatically.

If this is a test question, then it is stupid and wrong since the Help says it is for rooms and areas.....and you can put a color fill legend on an area plan.....
