Hi there.
I was wondering if anybody would have any information on why some room tags are not showing up in plan views?
We've discovered there's only a few within a job of approx 100+ sheets that have gone missing.
- They're not hidden
- They have had no overrides applied to them
- The 3D room is still there
- The View range IS cutting through the room volume
We have tried everything we can think of to try and get them back apart from deleting the room and re-adding it.
We'd like to avoid this if we can as we would have to go back through several sheets and make sure everything is correct.
In addition, we have also noticed the loss of some of our section heads. It's a similar problem: IE not hidden, no overrides, etc.
If anybody has any ideas on how to resolve this, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Whenever you post questions like this one, some other information would be helpful. System size, Revit year. Are you using latest build.
Do you have design options?
Phases?
If you start to insert a room, does Revit show there is already a room there? You do know that rooms are associated with worksets? Turn on all worksets and see if it is there.
What do you mean losing "section heads"? Do you mean the complete section marker? If just the head is missing then click on the section and click on the box to turn it back on.

We are currently using Revit 2009, and the entire project thus far has been created in this version.
We don't have any design option in this project, however we do have phases.
IE: Demolition and New Construction.
Our project is under New Construction with the rooms also being created apart of the new works.
Our worksets are all turned on, yes.
And by losing the section heads, I mean (refer to attached) the section head that appears on plan views indicating the name of the section and the sheet it is located on.
The box is unavailable to turn the section back on as they have "disappeared". Not sure if this might just be a glich in the program or because our file is so large.
Hope this helps.

If the section line shows and there is no circle arrow at the end of the section line when you click on it, then something is corrupted. If there is a circle arrow - click on it multiple times to click through your head options.

There is no circle arrow like there usually is. So with what you said about it being corrupted, would you know what might cause this?
Thanks.
