As far as I understand the functions of adding doors to glass type curtain walls, i seem to do the same type process to insulated panels, But does not function the same! Is there a diffrent way to approach this?
I have a 5" basic wall with insulated cutain wall panel system deleloped by the manufacturer etc.. I had to create grids segments to that door and trim out the panels. After I trimmed the panels could not delete the trimed panels, so I hid them by element in the view etc...
Did I do this the only and right way? Or is their another way to approach this? In my plan view the hidden panels still show!

Curtain wall Doors, glass or panels all perform exactly the same in a curtain wall opening. They fill the area and are defined by the curtain wall grids. I think you need to spend some time with some curtain wall tutorials. Also search your HELP and read all of the sections there.
BTW, If you are using a predefined curtain wall (Revit calls them Type-Driven Curtain Element Layout ), then you can't expect it not to act as you have set it up. A predefined curtain wall has some or all of it's components predefined. That includes mullions and grid spacings. We use predefined CW's for initial placement, then we change them to fully manual so we can alter them.
Predefined CW's will give you what you think is strange functions, but it is not. For instance, if you have set the grids to 8' horizontal spacings, you might change one of the grids but when you return to the view, the grid will be moved back to 8' - exactly what you told it to be.
