Hi all,
I've created a series of wall sweeps and am having trouble getting the wall sweeps to stay the length i want them to be. I spotted a work around of someone saying that if you place the sweep on a full wall length you should be able to drag the length then move it into position, however, when all works fine apart from when i move it into position between my windows it automatically jumps back to the full length of the wall with lots of individual pieces between each window when i only need 1 piece.
I don't want to break my wall up or use a hosted line based family for it. also don't want to use an in place family, I need to use a wall sweep. is there a way, am i missing something???
Thanks for any help

Each sweep has two ends and you can pull them back from the ends of the wall.

yeah dragging my grips works fine when the sweep doesn't cut through a window line, as soon as it does it jumps back to the length of the wall and is then unadjustable.

If you notice on my post, my sweep crosses several windows and I have no problems. So ... tell us a little more. WShat exactly are you trying to do?

I think i may have duplicated my post somewhere, lol
I think my problem is due to my wall being slightly off axis, i've found a work around of returning the sweep from the perpendicular wall at an angle of 89.54 degrees (the angle between the walls), this way i've dodged needing a sweep directly hosted to the offending wall.
