Whenever I go to edit a material, Revit temporarily freezes for 3-5 minutes then comes back active. Anyone else have this issue? Autodesk had nothing for me. I'm using Revit Architecture 12.

How many view windows do you have active? Each one has to be redrawn.

Have not seen this myself.
Does it happen in all files or certain files?
Even in a new empty project with a 2012 template ?
Maybe try turning off Hardware acceleration.
Make sure you have the latest RAC 2012 Build > http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=9262001
Maybe close other apps in case there is a wee conflict.

It happens to all files, even clean templates. It doesn't matter how many windows I have open. I'll try turning off hardware acceleration.

Are running the latest and greatest build of REVIT ?

What type and config. is the computer ?
