i'm working on a public health centre project and i need normal beds which are higher .. but i'm not able to change the height. neither am i able to bring my 3d autocad bed into revit ..the hospital bed i've got in my templates is too fancy as in it has guard rails .these types are expensive and not what i want.. any ideas how to remove the guardrails or change my normal twin bed's height or bring an autocad 3d model into revit?

You can edit any revit family and modify the solids there. (As long as it was made from Revit solids. - Could be a CAD import)
If your AutoDCAD bed has surfaces, not just wireframe, then it can be placed in a Revit family.
