Hi,
I am using Revit Architecture 2012, and was trying to filter out all the interior elevation tags on plan that begin with ASK in the sheet name. However, when I set up the filter, I checked elevation (under category), and then checked filter by sheet name that begins with ASK, only the number (which is the detail number on the sheet) with the filled arrow disappeared, and the elevation circle mark with the sheet number is still on the plan. Did I miss something? Any thoughts?
Thank you for the help.

This is one of those abandoned posts that perfectly sum up a question I have, but no one ever answered. Did you figure this out?

Hello,
Thanks for your response. No I have not figured it out. But I believe the problem with the filtering is that, since the elevation mark (the circle of the elevation tag) and the label (that shows the sheet number) do not share the same parameter as the elevation mark pointer (the pointy triangle with detail number), they are not programmed in a way to respond to one another when it comes to filtering, ie. when you filter by sheet name, the pointy triangles and detail numbers disppear when visibility is unchecked, but the cirle and the lable on the tag remains on the drawing because they simply do not understand the parameter of the filter.
The project I was working on was going very fast that I was not able to spend more time investigating on this matter...
It will be nice to get an answer...my method of filtering could be wrong, but I have tried filtering other ways, it just doesn't seem to work...
Thanks.

The only way I've ever gotten this to work is to use a filter that filters by the Family and Type of the elevation tag. The only snag I came up with is that if I wanted to show some elevation tags, I had to use two elevation tag families (one to show and one to filter out).
