Revit 2012
I am very fluent with color legends but have run into trouble with one room that will not color? I had thought it was associated with view range as that is the only difference in comparison to the other rooms that do color and it does have a sunkin area in the floor. It also shows a complete boundary but does not fill like the other rooms do.....
Any ideas?
with thanks....Michele

It has got to do with view range. Does the room show up in your schedule? Do you have a screenshot?

The room does show up in shcdule and I do have a screen shot. I did start playing further with view range and have some odd results. I can create a view range give it a lower setting to allow for sunkin floor....here's the kicker-the color now shows up outside the view range that is lower. So where I make changes in the view range nothing shows but where I don't make any changes it does but only with the seperate view range....starting to get convoluded in my explanation.
attach:You will see at the bottom left beside legend there is an area that appears as if the building is cut off....that is the area where the view region is located. Room 175 will not show any color without that view region as part of the plan.

That PDF is really kind of worthless to us. When you post something like that, zoom in and add some temporary notes to tell us the problem. We don't know your project.
Where is this room hosted? On this level ? .... or on the sunken level? That could be your problem.

apologies-thought a visual might help. I have found that when I eleiminate one of the walls it all works as it should. Will continue to see what the issue is with the wall.
thanks for your help. always appreciated.
