Hey everyone.. Having a problem, as We want to create a custom spot elevation symbol and load it into our project, which has been done just fine. Our problem is now that the spot elevations won't accept a symbol in the type properties (see attached image). Does anyone have any idea why this is or how i can change it?? I believe i have tried everything i know, but must admit that im not a RAC specialist.

Hi there. No revit expert either but i'm going to guess that the symbol option is gone because all unused spot elevation symbols have been purge from the project. If not then it means the symbol you loaded is not being recognized as a spot elevation symbol. Try opening and editing an existing spot elevation family  eg. “Spot Elevation - Target Filled” to your custom symbol and then open and load it into your project. It should become available after that. If not then I’m not sure what’s wrong. Hope this helps.
